WordRush takes the classic 5-letter word guessing format and adds a layer of urgency. Your goal isn't just to solve the puzzle—it's to solve it fast. Compete against your own average time or challenge friends to beat your speed.

How to Play

• Guess the Word: Type a valid 5-letter word and hit Enter. You have 6 tries.
• Check the Colors:
  • Cyan/Blue: Correct letter, correct spot.
  • Purple/Striped: Correct letter, wrong spot.
  • Dark Gray: Letter is not in the word.
• Watch the Clock: The timer starts the moment you type your first letter. Speed is the tie-breaker on our leaderboards!

Strategy Tips

Speed requires a different mindset than leisurely solving.

• Start with Vowels: Words like ADIEU, AUDIO, or RAISE clear out vowels early, giving you a structural skeleton of the word immediately.
• Consonant Clusters: Look for common pairings like TH, SH, CH, or ST. If you find an 'H', try to place a 'T' or 'S' before it.
• Don't get stuck on repeats: If you are stuck, remember that letters can appear twice (like the 'E' in SPEED).
